Employee's Student Tuition

Greenwich Employees who do not live in the Town of Greenwich, have the option to enroll their children in Greenwich Public Schools. See the below information for details if you plan to enroll your child at GPS or if your child is currently enrolled at GPS. 

Tuition Information

GPS/Town of Greenwich Employee Application

Children of non-resident active employees of the Town of Greenwich are eligible to attend Greenwich Public Schools on a reduced, differentiated tuition basis. Employees must meet one of the following criteria to be considered eligible:

  • Certified staff of GPS FTE of .5 or above eligible for full benefits 

  • Non-certified staff of GPS FTE of 1.0 eligible for full benefits 

  • Other Town employees FTE of 1.0 eligible for full benefits 

Students who attend Greenwich Public Schools on a tuition basis are subject to board policies detailed here in Tuition Students Regulation.

Tuition Applications for K-12 students for the 2025-26 school year are now open.     Submit your online application with up to three school preferences.   Placements will be made on a space available basis.  Applications received by May 1st will be notified by late June as to their school placement.  After placement, students will then  register with their designated school.   Questions? When you accept your placement, you will need to complete the the Salary Reduction Form for Payroll before registering.    For additional information on tuition, click here.
