GEA Committees

The Committees organized under the VP of Communications are the Social Media Committee,

The Committees organized under the Treasurer are the Financial Committee, the Audit Committee, and the Scholarship Committee. Click on the section to learn more about each specific committee.

The Committees organized under the VP Secondary are the High School Committee, the Middle School Committee, and the Scholarship Committee (Co-Chaired with PAC Chair and Treasurer). Click on the section to learn more about each specific committee.

The PR&R Committee handles issues and grievances for GEA. There are 3 tri-committees that make up the PR&R Committee: Elementary, Middle School, and High School. Click the section to learn more about PR&R.

The Political Affairs and Board of Education Outreach Committee goes through important information in the community regarding our Public Schools. They reach out to the community and membership regarding topics and in advocating for our schools. 

The negotiations committee is not an annual committee. This committee is formed on years where the GEA negotiates their contract with the BOE. Click the section to learn about negotiations.
